Nicholas graduated from Strathclyde University in 2010 and spent the first seven years of his career outside insolvency, working for a multi-national Business Intelligence firm in London. This helped Nicholas develop a base of knowledge across industries such as Plastics & Packaging, Aerospace and Telecoms.

Nicholas entered the insolvency industry in 2017 and spent the following five years specialising in personal insolvency by providing advice to individuals in financial distress, predominantly focusing on Protected Trust Deeds, Sequestrations and IVAs.

Since joining Middlebrooks in 2022, Nicholas has dealt with a wide variety of case types, both personal and corporate, which span from Trust Deeds to Compulsory Liquidations and MVLs.

Nicholas aims to become an Insolvency Practitioner and plans on taking both the CPI and JIE qualifications in the coming years.
